Our highly-engaging curriculum, specially trained teachers and collaborative community reignite a love of learning and motivate and engage students to succeed. Adrian K. is exceptional in many ways. A senior at our school, he is a published author and highly skilled web designer who sometimes combines both pursuits in extremely imaginative ways.
On Amazon, you’ll find a book titled The Realm’s Architect: The Adventure Begins. Its author is Lighthouse Connections Academy student Adrian. According to Adrian, “I am passionate about writing, as well as my computer skills.
“My new favorite thing is writing books since it is very calming, and I can get my ideas out there. It helps that I build websites and host them, so I can bring two of my favorite things together and create something awesome. My websites specifically tend to be my jewels.”
When asked to describe his relationship with his teachers, Adrian said, “I think I have pretty good relationships [with them]. I talk with my teachers whenever I need help. I have a few good friends who are teachers … they support my crazy ideas whenever I have one or two. I was able to publish my [book] due to some of the teachers’ kindness and willingness to understand me and my goals.”

Can my student transfer to Connections Academy mid-year?
Absolutely! While we always recommend that students transfer at the beginning of the semester to have the smoothest transition possible, we also accept students a few weeks into both the fall and spring semester (if capacity allows).
